Join us at 7.30pm on Tuesday evenings in the IBC Church lounge from 28 April onwards as we study the Book of Job and discuss our response to the problem of suffering.

These studies will be taking a more in-depth look at this book of the Bible alongside our Sunday services through May and June as we consider fundamental questions of faith and the presence of God in pain, suffering and life itself.

Each of the Tuesday studies will begin by getting together over coffee and desert, there will then be a teaching presentation on the evenings topic, followed by the opportunity to join in discussion groups of 10-12 people to share your questions, answers and further reflections. Each evening will end with the opportunity to ask for and share in prayer together.

From April to June these studies will take the place of our Home Group ministry at IBC.

Spring us upon us and it's time to spend some time ensuring that the church grounds and buildings look at their best so we have organised two work days on Saturday 18th and Saturday 25th April

Work golvesWe plan to tidy up the grounds and carry out some essential internal and external maintenance and repairs. The Sanctuary is also looking forward to some TLC (tender loving care), with much polishing of wood, cleaning of windows and tidying of chairs to be done.

Each day will kick off at 9am and run through to mid afternoon with a midday break. It's appreciated that not everyone will be available for the whole period but you can come along for all or part of each day. Coffee and Tea will be available, but please bring a packed lunch.

This is an important part of our service within the church and all help will be gratefully appreciated.

IBC have informed Vodafone that we will not be granting them permission to erect a mast.
